Farm Experiences and Visits
REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS
Refunds of event fees will only be given if:
- The event is cancelled or rescheduled due to host/artist illness or insufficient enrolments. Minimum enrolments are required for all events. Should an event have to be cancelled due to insufficient enrolments or host/artist illness, all participants enrolled in that event will be contacted and an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.
When a refund cannot be provided:
- The Paddock Lal Lal cannot accept responsibility for changes to participants' personal circumstances that prevent attendance, or “change of mind” or “postponements due to Government restrictions”.
- If you choose to withdraw, then Experience fees are forfeited. Ticket/s can be transferred to another attendee, however this is your responsibility to arrange. If you wish to do this, please arrange your replacement and notify us of the name change so they can attend.
- It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they remember to attend an event. If you forget the date, your ticket is non-refundable.
YOUR OBLIGATIONS
You must comply with all requests from The Paddock Lal Lal representatives with regard to health and safety. Failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the event (in which case no refund will be provided). You may not bring any equipment or items of a hazardous or dangerous nature to the event. If you act in any way which in our opinion is likely to cause any harm or nuisance to any person at the event, you will be required to leave the event and we shall not be liable to refund your ticket fee or any other payment.
You must keep your personal belongings with you at all times and we accept no liability for any damage to, loss of or theft of any of your belongings or other items brought to an event by you.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken by us to ensure security and safety at the workshop, we shall not in any way be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you in relation to the event. As a working flower farm, there are naturally hazards and risks throughout the farm. Attendance and participation at our events are entirely at your own risk.
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO
Photos and/or videos may be taken during the workshop for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed/recorded, please let a staff member know before the workshop starts. Photography and/or video will be used to promote workshops and events via social media, marketing materials and website.
Damages and issues
Unpack your order as soon as possible after receiving and if there are any concerns email thepaddocklallal@outlook.com within 7 days, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
We are unable to offer refunds or replacements after the 7 days.
We do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Dahlias
Dahlia tubers will be available for sale online when dividing is finished.
Email subscribers will be notified of the sale the day before advertised on social media.
Being our first-year, cultivars will have limited stock.
The tubers you add to your cart aren't yours until the payment/checkout process is complete, others may check out before you do resulting in them being sold out.
Dahlia tubers will be posted out to you from October. My farm is in a cool climate area and it takes a good while for my tubers to wake up. I will not be shipping any dormant tubers earlier, guaranteeing that your tubers will arrive to you with at least one viable eye.
So we will store all tubers for the winter and you will receive your orders in time for planting.
Farm pickup is available for locals (3352), just pay for your order and select pick up.
These will be available to pick up around early October.
All cultivars are grown and divided by us here at The Padddock Lal Lal, we take special precautions to the best of our ability to ensure all stock is free from virus and dahlia gall.
If any varieties that you order do not make it through storage, you will be contacted immediately and given a refund or offered a substitute of your choice - I do not substitute tubers at my discretion.
The Paddock Lal Lal holds no responsibility for tubers after they’ve been shipped. We are not responsible for storage, planting conditions, weather, animal damage poor customer care etc.
A Dahlia Growing Guide is available on our website to assist you in storing and growing your Dahlia's successfully, however NO responsibility is taken by The Paddock Lal Lal for the tubers or their growth after you have received them. You need to monitor your tubers while they are being stored to ensure they stay in a viable condition. Every climate and soil type is different so it is very important you learn what works in your individual environment.
Please note that tubers should not be planted until all risk of frost has passed. The general recommendation in Australia is that Dahlias are planted the first weekend of November, but you can alter this to suit your own climate (at your own risk).
Garlic
Garlic bulbs will not be posted until they have been properly dried. My farm is in a cool climate area so harvesting is late.
